Our company's roots lie in taking over management of a crab processing factory from Hokkai Suisan Co., Ltd. (Monbetsu City, Hokkaido).
1998/06/11Universal Sea Japan Co., Ltd. was established in Sapporo in March 2001.
2001/06/03We have started purchasing crabs from Russian ships loaded with live and frozen crabs in Otaru, Wakkanai, and Monbetsu.
2002/04/05We hired Russian staff and went to Russia (Vladivostok, Sakhalin, Murmansk) to begin importing various types of crab.
2005/03/14We partnered with Cambodian Mekong University, invited a former professor from Kyoto University's Faculty of Agriculture, and began a business of cultivating Jatropha, which has attracted attention as a biomass energy source, by leasing farmland owned by Cambodian Mekong University.
2006/06/06As Russian ships have completely shifted from Japan to Korea, we have started purchasing in Busan and Donghae, Korea.
2008/02/10Started exporting marine products to Hong Kong and general food products to Korea.
